Dear contact person,
Following the recent reporting deadlines for EU ETS, CH ETS, CORSIA and the ReFuelEU Aviation regulation, the Dutch Emissions Authority (NEa) would like to share an update on the current reporting cycle and upcoming milestones. |

Acknowledgment of Submissions |
We would like to thank all aircraft operators and verifiers for their efforts in submitting and verifying reports by the 31 March deadline. We are pleased to confirm that all operators under the administration of the Netherlands met the reporting deadline.
Your cooperation is essential for the smooth implementation of the ReFuelEU Aviation initiative—focused on the adoption and uplift of sustainable aviation fuels—and the continued operation of the Emissions Trading System (ETS) and CORSIA.

To assist with your planning for the remainder of the cycle, please take note of the following deadlines:
- 30 September 2026: Surrender of allowances. Please ensure that the required number of emission allowances to cover your verified emissions are surrendered before this deadline
- Monitoring Plan reviews. We strongly recommend that you review your monitoring plan at this stage. Are there any changes? Please submit an updated plan to the NEa for review via the ETS Reporting Tool

ReFuelEU: Note on Key Dates and Enforcement Actions |
The NEa is currently reviewing the submitted Refuel reports and aims to complete this process by 30 April at the latest. If additional clarification is required, we will contact the relevant AO either via the EASA sustainability portal or directly by email.
Please note that, for the 2025 reporting period, the minimum 90% uplift obligation is subject to penalties if not complied with. In case of non-compliance with the uplift obligation, the NEa will share further details regarding any subsequent actions with you at a later stage.
